The International Green Technology Trade Center is a unique business marketplace specifically designed to generate sales and brand recognition for 250+ of the most cutting-edge green technology companies from around the world. For Green Tech companies seeking access to international media, trade buyers, manufacturers and new investors, the IGTTC is an opportunity to leverage economies of scale to best promote a growing business in a dynamic networking environment.
|
IGTTC 2010 is a concept that expands upon previous incarnations of the trade center model, creating a permanent yet dynamic space for Green Tech trade; adding value with a dedicated publicity machine to promote the center and its members in the press; and an extensive team of in-house and external communications, branding, marketing, distribution, operations, fundraising and energy and industry expert consultants to work with member companies that need professional advice to grow to the next level of business success. |
The business logic behind the IGTTC comes from creating critical mass. One way of visualizing the value for each participating member is to quantify his access to the buyers attracted by the other participants. If each company representative individually attracts 10 potential clients into his showroom, by operating within a marketplace with 100 participants, it would mean 1,000 potential buyers would be exposed to all of the displays as they walk through and learn about the many different products on display. By channeling the collective advertising power of the participating firms through a comprehensive marketing program designed specifically for this project, the power of attraction grows exponentially. The showroom strategy is designed to generate the most effective response for buyers and sellers by maintaining a level of activity conducive to interaction with other institutions and associations. Market Days are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when all IGTTC showrooms are open, guaranteeing that the visiting manufacturers, sales associations and buyers are met with a full house. These will also be the days when external associations and other interested groups will convene their own meetings at the center, allowing the opportunity for new groups to continually be exposed to member companies. The center is open five days a week and members of the IGTTC are able to make use of all the project’s facilities, using non-market days to schedule appointments at their own showrooms or in the common spaces and restaurants. |
